Goodbye for now!
Duane, Kay, Megan and Marisa are on their flight back home today after having spent 9 days with us. We will miss them very much. We are always sad to say goodbye but we hope to see them again, at least within the next 6 months. Maybe Thanksgiving or Christmas.
We had a great visit. We went to Cape May, to the Eastern Penitentiary Museum, the Mutter Museum, to numerous great restaurants, and to grandparents house. We did biking, fishing, surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, tennis, ping pong, and sang our hearts out to Sing Star Rock. Lots of laughs. We also took Megan for tours at Villanova Univ. and Drexel Univ. and are really hoping she chooses one of those so we can see her more often. However, we want her to make her choice, without our pressure, completely on her own so we hope we haven't fogged her view too much. Marisa kept us laughing. Duane kept us exercising. Kay kept us calm and centered. And Megan reminded us of our cherished past and the bright future. Looking foward to seeing the photos we had taken by the photographer and of our activities.
For now, the Huff family is back into the routine for this week. Next week we hope to gear our children up for school and finish reports. Then, we are looking forward to seeing the Gibbs/Simpson family in the third week of August. Lastly, we will be taking a trip to Cancun for a week - gotta end the summer with fun in the sun!
Hope to hear from everyone soon.
Love, Val
